Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a STC Qualification Engineer (f/m) to join our STC Solutions Programme / Customer Services based in Toulouse, France. We deliver Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrade solutions (SB, ICA and kits) certified through Airbus STC, to airlines and lessors for the modification of their in-service aircrafts. Integrated in the Airworthiness and Technical Validation team, you act as a bridge between Engineering Departments and Certification Engineers to ensure compliance demonstration of the developed design solutions. - Deliver and validate structural substantiation reports (static, fatigue & damage tolerance) according to time, cost and quality requirements.
- Provide technical expertise during design reviews from a stress structure perspective to ensure the safety of Airbus STC Solutions (ATA25/53).
- Approve production concessions, technical adaptations, and analyze the impact of unexpected in-service feedback or damages.
- Manage external subcontractors for stress topics and steer suppliers to guarantee technical compliance of developments.
- Interface with external stakeholders (Decompression, Aeroloads, Airframe) and ensure seamless communication across multi-functional teams.
