We ar e looking for a n * Avionics Systems Design Engineer and V&V Manager * to come onboard in our * Engineering ** D irectorate * in * David * 's team : a team of * 15 * collaborators ! Your Mission The perimeter of Avionics Department in ATR Engineering is:

• ATA 22 - Autopilot
• ATA 23 - Audio and Communications
• ATA 31 - Indicating , Alerting and Recording
• ATA 34 - Navigation and Surveillance
• ATA 42 - Modular Avionics
• ATA 45 - Maintenance
• ATA 46 - E lectronic Flight Bag

The jobholder is responsible for the development and follow-up of Avionics Systems for ATA 31 and aircraft functions and for the Management of the ROAAS function V&V on ATR42 and ATR72 programs.

• Contribute to Avionics Systems modifications and studies in compliance with applicable technical design directives and certification rules (FAR/JAR/CS25, CRI, IP...) and answering to the ATR customers needs ,
• Ensure technology and regulation watch,
• Participate in research programs,
• Specify, develop, and integrate Systems and Equipment in accordance with ATR product policy,
• Release Specifications and Statements of Work, participate in supplier selection (RFI/RFP), conduct progress meetings, and monitor the development and adjustment of the aircraft -installed systems concerned ,
• Contribute to Certification Program and develop the Means of Compliance documents required for certification, discussions with Certification Authorities,
• Issue technical data to support Operational and Maintenance documentation updates,
• Verify ATR and Vendor Service Bulletins,
• Support the Production Line in case of issues in the production phase, and during flight tests and delivery (assembly anomalies, troubleshooting, concessions, repairs...),
• Provide technical support to the Customers and other ATR directorates in their missions,
• Manage technical relationships with Avionics equipment suppliers,
• Draft A irlines information documents (S ervice I nformation L etters ... ),
• For aircraft events, contribute to identify the root causes and provide expertise on parts found to be defective. If required, suggest adapted preventive/corrective solutions as well as applicable procedures,
• Analyze in-service occurrences and evaluate the need for reporting,
• Technical support to ICAO Annex 13 investigations.

About you

• Field of study in aeronautics
• Experience (>10 yeas) in aircraft avionics systems development
• Experience in project management
• Strong knowledge in aeronautical electronics systems, in particular ATA 31 (Indicating), ATA 34 (Navigation and Surveillance) ATA 22 (Autopilot)
• Knowledge of A/C regulations (JAR/CS/FAR 25, Part 21...), development processes and standards ( e.g. ARP4754A, ARP4761...), qualification standards ( e.g. DO160G, DO178C... and/or EUROCAE equivalent)
• Knowledge in "Safety ", "Human factors" and "Cyber-security" processes
• Soft skills : g ood relationship skills, ability to communicate with various stakeholders (external: Authorities, Partners, Suppliers, Customers ... ; internal: Production, Quality, Procurement, Program, Customers Support, Marketing and Sales...) and in a multi-cultural environment.
• Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus )

L e titulaire du poste est responsable du développement et du suivi d e systèmes avioniques de l'ATA 31 ainsi que de la gestion de la V&V pour la fonction ROAAS, pour les programmes ATR42 et ATR72.

• Contribuer à la conception et au développement de systèmes avioniques en conformité avec les directives de conception technique et les règles de certification applicables (FAR/JAR/CS25, CRI, IP...) et en réponse aux besoins des clients d'ATR,
