About the role

Our mission is to develop a business jet with a state-of-the-art hydrogen-electric propulsion system. As we advance on this exciting journey, we are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join our Tests and Instrumentation team to support current ground tests and future flight tests activities.

As a Mechatronics Engineer in our Tests and Instrumentation team, you will design, implement, and maintain critical test systems for our pioneering hydrogen-electric aircraft, ensuring accurate data acquisition and contributing to the successful validation of our groundbreaking technology.

Valuable member of the team your role will be : 

• Test Bench Design and Engineering
• Create and modify electric technical drawings for production and assembly
• Develop and optimize testing procedures, including test bench setup and execution
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in design and testing processes
• As a hybrid engineer, you know how to make the relevant mechanical and electrical modifications on the test benches.

• Instrumentation and Tests Support
  • Support Tests and Instrumentation Development: Contribute to the development of tests and instrumentation for Beyond Aero's Hydrogen-Electric Business Aircraft ground tests team.
  • Instrumentation Application Support: Assist in the application of instrumentation during the assembly process of the Systems Under Test.
  • Engineering Test Data Support: Review and streamline the test data engineering of documentation related to instrumentation.
  • Instrumentation Asset Management: Take ownership of multiple instrumentation and UUT assets, ensuring they are always ready for testing, including tasks such as configuration, calibration, and data management.
  • Test Setup and Commissioning Support: Aid development tests engineers with the setup and commissioning of each test campaign.

 

About you

• You have a Master degree or equivalent in mechatronic systems or instrumentation
• You have hands-on experience with high-precision sensors and calibration tools
• You are comfortable working with cutting-edge data analysis software
• You are skilled in managing telemetry systems and ensuring safety compliance
• You are autonomous, curious, and a good team player
• You are able to challenge existing process and your management in a spirit of continuous improvement
• You have an experience in a multi-cultural environment and understand international diversity
