Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Control Laws Designer (F/M) to join our flight Control Laws team based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing manual and auto-pilot flight control laws. As part of the flight Control Laws team, you will be involved in designing systems that directly impact the aircraft's overall behavior and performance, aiming at creating a unique link between end-user needs and the specific design embedded in the flight control computers. *Your working environment: * Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city in the southwest of France served by an international airport. • Take responsibility for Flight Control Laws from preliminary design up to certification.
• Deliver detailed specifications using formal specification tools to ensure the timely delivery, quality, and performance of your integrated design.
• Validate your design through desktop aircraft simulators and specific simulations.
• Present and justify your design, while supporting flight test engineers and test pilots during flight tests and simulator sessions.
• Monitor in-service events reported by customer support or pilots, actively contributing to continuous airworthiness activities.

*Your boarding pass:

• Significant experience in automatic control, flight physics, and dynamics applied to engineering systems.
• Proficiency in control simulation tools such as Matlab and Simulink.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with various stakeholders across different domains, functions, and countries.
• Autonomous and team-oriented mindset, demonstrating close attention to detail while maintaining a global perspective.
• Negotiation level in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
