Electronic components specialist (f/m)

**Job Description:** Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an *Electronic components specialist (f/m)* to join our Avionics and SImulation Electronic department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing and producing embedded computers. As part of the Component team, you will be involved in the selection and the management of the electronic components used in the avionic equipments aiming at ensuring the quality, reliability and longevity of the products. **Your working environment:** Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city in the southwest of France served by an international airport. • Your challenges:*
• Select and manage the components in the internal database.
• Ensure the technical risk analysis, the qualification, the quality survey and the obsolescence management of electronic components regarding specific avionics constraints & requirements.
• Provide the technical support for AIRBUS departments (manufacturing, design, quality, procurement) for topics related to electronic components technology and quality. Within this frame, he/she will be the technical focal point for electronic components suppliers (manufacturers or distributors).
• Perform technological survey and continuous improvement of our processes : monitoring of the manufacturers roadmaps, benchmarks, ...
• *Your boarding pass:**
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar environment.
• Master's degree ( or equivalent) in Physics or electronics
• Good knowledge in electronics components technologies
• Team spirit
• Good communication skills
• Autonomy
• An intermediate level of English is required
• A negotiation level of French is required
