• Airbus Commercial Aircraft *is looking for* a Translator & Linguistic Support (f/m) *to join our Linguistic Support Department* based in Toulouse, France. *

You will be part of a multicultural team providing linguistic services for the entire Airbus community. As part of the Linguistic Support Team, you will be involved in technical documentation and translation on request aiming at securing Aircraft deliveries on time and Quality across global delivery centers. *Your working environment:* Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city in the southwest of France served by an international airport. • Your challenges:*
• Perform translation of technical and miscellaneous documents for all aircraft programs, ensuring On Time Delivery for final assembly lines.
• Participate in on-call duty services (18h-08h) to support Delivery Centers in France, Germany, USA, and China.
• Execute incoming inspections and proofreading of subcontracted translations to ensure linguistic quality and provide improvement recommendations.
• Validate Technical Data deliverables (Authoring Work Orders, Warnings & Cautions) and manage related linguistic databases.
• Design and deliver English training materials and courses adapted to different proficiency levels and business contexts.

As a Senior Technical Leader, you blend deep aeronautical mastery specifically in flight physics and control laws with a relentless drive for project excellence. Your strategic command of the V-cycle and high-fidelity simulation makes you a decisive authority within the Design Office.

• Background in Translation, Linguistics or English Teaching.
• Professional experience in technical translation within an industrial environment.
• Technical expertise in CAT tools, linguistic validation processes, and quality inspection.
• Ability to assess proficiency levels and create pedagogical learning materials for remote or in-situ courses.
• Negotiation level of English and French.
