Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Electrical lab tester for In-service fleet (m/f) to join our Electrical Systems and Electromagnetic Compatibility Tests Team based in Toulouse, France.

The Electrical Systems and Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing team is heavily involved in supporting this momentum and preparing for the future through new testing approaches and the development of tomorrow's testing capabilities.

The team works on two types of activities :

-The in-service aircraft fleet (through certification testing, predictive maintenance, airline support, etc.)

-The aircraft of the future (trend towards electrification, fuel cells, etc.).

The selected candidate will join this dynamic team of more than 20 members.

Your challenges :

• Conduct electrical laboratory testing related to major mods and in-service events
• Support flight test activities dedicated to electrical perimeter through preparation (Flight Test Instrumentation, ...), support (telemetry) and analysis
• Support in-service fleet and especially predictive maintenance activities run through Skywise platform and Big Data approach
• Ensure a proper interface with all necessary stakeholders (Design Office, Customer Service, Zero Aircraft On Ground Plateau, Programs, Test Means Organization, ...) and link with the team members dedicated to R&T to foster the exchange between current and future fleet

Your boarding pass :

• Applicants will need to demonstrate their competence in electrics/power electronics (Master of Science and potential experience) and a sound knowledge in Data Science (Python programming, etc)
• A strong ability to work with evolving constraints and to prioritize tasks
• The ability and will to foster collaboration and team spirit
• A hands-on and problem solving approach
• Basics of aeronautical products and related environment would be an interesting plus
• Candidate should be fluent in English

Business travels can be expected once a year in Europe or in the world and consequently, you must be willing to travel accordingly
