JIRA CONFIGURATION MANAGER (M/F)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a (f/m) to join our System Methods & Tools team based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing efficient digital methods and tools for the systems community. As part of the System Methods and Tools team , you will be involved in digital transformation initiatives aiming at providing the most efficient and secure solutions to design the aircraft systems.

Your challenges:

As a key enabler for digital continuity in aircraft system design, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of the JIRA solution. Your main challenge is to provide the systems community with the most efficient and secure configuration, ensuring harmonized ways of working across various design offices.

• Configure, deploy, and maintain JIRA projects by designing, implementing, testing, and documenting complex schemes (workflows, screens, custom fields) to meet business needs.
• Elicit and validate technical requirements from multifunctional stakeholders (business users, IM, cybersecurity), acting as a solution owner for the configuration.
• Lead trade-off analysis and model the methods and tools to select the best configuration solution, maximizing value creation and reuse of existing platforms.
• Promote security by design and data compliance by adapting and integrating the JIRA configuration with interfacing applications in a closed-loop continuous development approach.
• Verify the complete implementation and its interfaces to ensure digital continuity and consistency with other solutions developed by the Systems Methods and Tools team.

Your boarding pass:

• Experience: Proven professional experience with JIRA configuration and administration.
• Technical expertise: Expert knowledge in designing and managing JIRA projects, workflows, schemes, and permissions is mandatory .
• Technical expertise: Knowledge of Git and Jenkins is a valuable asset, ideally with experience integrating them with JIRA for CI/CD processes.
• Skills: Advanced level of English and French is required.
• Optional Skills: Basic knowledge of programming or scripting is a plus.
