Mission :
Is your goal to successfully manage firmware development projects? Would you like to join a team with a passion for electronics and work on complex, high-density digital boards in the space and airborne sectors?
The SAR Product team is seeking an outstanding, self-motivated Firmware Engineer to contribute to the development of Active Antennas for airborne and space SAR instruments. You will join a multi- skilled team to manage technical projects.
What will be your responsibilities:

Technical Project Management - Oversee technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with requirements.

Active Antenna RF Front-end Design - Design RF front-end boards for active antennas.

Subcontractor Oversight - Monitor and manage subcontracted RF board design and production.

Development & Specification - Participate in the development, specification, and testing phases.

Testing & Validation - Conduct fine-tuning and validation to ensure performance compliance.

Design Justification - Perform design justification activities and participate in milestone design reviews.

Innovation & Optimization - Propose technical innovations in RF system design and testing.

Compliance Management - Ensure adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality standards.

Knowledge Sharing & Training - Share expertise and contribute to training new recruits.

Profile and requirements:

Educational Background - Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (5 years of higher education)

Extensive Experience - 10+ years of experience in:

Designing electronic chips (GaN and SiGe MMICs)

Developing microwave amplifiers (PA, LNA)

Designing and integrating active antennas

Overseeing subcontracted RF board production

Industry Passion - Strong interest in the aviation and/or space industries.

Radar Expertise - Keen interest and experience in radar technology and systems.

Soft Skills & Language Requirements

Quick Learner & Adaptable: Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies

Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

Passion for Space & Innovation: Enthusiastic about space technology and advancements

Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in French and English, with proven fluency at the C2 level in both languages

Location Based : Toulouse
