Experienced Structure Stress In-Service Engineer - A220 Program (m/f)

**Job Description:** Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an* Experienced Structure Stress In-Service Engineer - A220 Program (m/f)* to join our team based in Toulouse, France. The In-Service structure Engineering department is in charge of providing efficient repair solutions to A220 customers for the whole airframe (All ATA 5x). We are working in partnership with the in-service engineering team in Mirabel (Canada) to always provide the better support to our customers. • Analyzing damage reports and providing stress justifications of repair instructions enabling quick return to service of the aircraft (passengers may be waiting on board)
• Performing static strength, durability and damage tolerance analyses for specific or generic structural metallic repairs in support to the A220 fleet;
• Interacting with a multidisciplinary team in the development of structural repair solutions;
• Analyze recurring cases and develop generic solutions to provide more autonomy to our internal/external customers
• Ensuring safety and airworthiness of aircraft structure by reporting any unsafe condition
• Supporting the completion of various A220 aircraft structural manuals such as Aircraft Structural Repair Publication (ASRP) and

Aircraft Maintenance Publication (AMP); * Supporting AOG and critical cases during some weekends per year (on-call) to ensure customer satisfaction Your boarding pass:

• You have experience in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a relevant experience of minimum of five (5) years in stress analysis in the aerospace industry;
• You have a good knowledge in aircraft metallic structure stress analysis (practical experience on A220 structures is an asset);
• Experience with PATRAN and NASTRAN
• Knowledge of damage tolerance analysis (experience with NASGRO is an asset);
• Ability to read aircraft structure repair drawings (Catia V5 is an asset);
• A good understanding of applicable airworthiness regulations (experience with Transport Canada is an asset);
• You have a negotiation level in English (French is an asset);
• Your are a self-starter, team player, well organized and customer oriented
