MAP Specialist - Functional Electrics / Flight Test / SA Family (M/F)

• Airbus Commercial Aircraft* is seeking an experienced *Functional Electrics MAP Designer (m/f)* to join our MAP Flight Test team *based in* * Toulouse, France.*

You will be part of the MAP Airframe engineering teams for the Single Aisle (SA) family responsible for the design and functional definition of electrical harnesses for test aircraft. Within our team, you will have various opportunities: Work closely with the aircraft, on definition activities, improving methods and tools, and providing support to production and test crews. Develop cross-functional skills by acting as the direct interface between aircraft design and the test environment of the prestigious A320 family flight test center. Interact with various stakeholders: production, design office, chief engineering, test engineers, maintenance engineers, crew members, aircraft managers, etc. *Your working environment:* Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city in the southwest of France served by an international airport. • Your challenges:*
• Delivering technical solutions to support FE configuration changes for Flight Tests purposes by:
• Creating wiring diagrams (WD) and Special Instructions (SI)
• Analyzing functional diagrams (FD)

The scope covers all aircraft systems.

• Contribute to the team's performance. Flexible work includes rotating on-call duties with colleagues.
• Support the Technical Lead on the Quality, Process & Performance aspects of FE deliverables.
• Manage the prioritization of technical topics according to the delivery plan.
• Provide support for flight test activities related to troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment instructions, and configuration changes. Respond to problems proactively.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including the final assembly line, the flight test center, the design office, chief engineers, and other MAP (Production, Systems, Flight Test Instrumentation, etc.) departments.
• Contribute to the capitalization and sharing of know-how, skills, and best practices.
• Encourage collaboration and mutual support within the team.
• Contribute to preparing for the future by promoting improvements and innovations within the team.

• Excellent team spirit
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Aeronautical Functional Electrics Definition
• Solid experience required. In-depth knowledge of the functional domain, mastery of electrical installation design principles (ESI)
• Knowledge of design/definition tools (e.g., CIRCE-C / TAKSI / GILDA / SEE XP / AXIOM / Capital... ideally)
• Leverage your own network (design office, other MAP teams, flight test department, Manufacturing Engineering, production, etc.).
• Good adaptability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
• Autonomous with good responsiveness and adaptability, even under pressure.
• Good communication skills, comfortable with technical presentations.
• Proactive in seeking innovation and continuous improvement in our activities.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary context.
• French : advanced level
• English : advanced level
