Airbus Defence and Space digital is looking for a dynamic, skilled and motivated* Solution Architect* * VDI H/F *who is ready to face any challenge, based in * Toulouse ** , France. * You will be part of a PSL (Product & Service Line) within the IT Infrastructure organisation which is in charge of designing, building and operating the network infrastructure (VDI, LAN, WAN, IAM, Wireless, Network Security, Internet Access, Load Balancing) of the company. **Your working environment:** Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city of the southwest of France served by an international airport. Ensure consistency across IT Products. Design, integrate and implement IT solutions from a technical perspective and ensure, that technical solutions, procedures and models for development are up-to-date and comply with standards. Act as Subject Matter expert for * VDI technology cluster * and * NetScaler technology * and advise about and deliver these technologies. You possess a deep transferable knowledge of current, new and emerging technologies, including the ability to autonomously develop POCs (proof of concept) and to contribute future IT strategies and standards.

• Your key activities: *
• Acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services
• Collaborating with other architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting edge technologies
• Participating in all phases of the product life cycle including design, development, testing, implementation and support
• Aligning architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long- term strategic planning for the organization's Information systems.
• Managing requirements, definition of models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions
• Managing and coordination of demands from M3 (concept phase) to EiS (Entry into Service) with project management methodologies
• Implementation of project work packages in the VDI/NetScaler domain
• Performing technical and functional design considering all components of a new solution
• Validating product designs and ensuring solution consistency across IT products
• Contribution with * VDI/NetScaler * subject matter expertise to IT architectures, IT Product Design, Product Development and Product strategic roadmap and in all phases of the development life cycle including research, design, development, testing, implementation and support
• Ensure building and implementing of IT applications through the design, testing and integration of solutions in line with customer and product requirements
• Coordination of the functional and technical integration with other product teams like network, IAM, etc.
• Secure reaching EiS with minimum impact on the production environment and fulfilling the agreed business requirements in quality and time
• In case of a crisis provide L2/L3 support to the RUN Operations team
• Collaboration with other architects, solution designers and SME's to deliver highest quality solutions
• Acquire in depth knowledge of the current infrastructure environment and contribute towards development of it and therewith complement Enterprise architecture mission
